Professor Patrick Wong Lung Tak, BBS, JP, has been an independent non-executive Director since August 2008. Professor Wong is a member of each of the Audit Committee, Remuneration Committee, Nomination Committee and Corporate Governance Committee of the Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising) in Hong Kong and the Managing Practising Director of Patrick Wong CPA Limited. He has over 50 years experience in the accountancy profession. Professor Wong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business degree, was awarded a Badge of Honour by the Queen of England in 1993 and was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1998. He was also awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Government of the HKSAR in 2010. Professor Wong is an independent non-executive director of Water Oasis Group Limited, Winox Holdings Limited, The Cross-Harbour (Holdings) Limited (elected on 22 May 2023) and Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Holdings Co., Ltd. (elected on 30 May 2023), all are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Professor Wong was formerly an independent non-executive director of BAIC Motor Corporation Limited from December 2014 to March 2021, Li Bao Ge Group Limited from June 2016 to December 2021, Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited from August 2010 to November 2022 and C C Land Holdings Limited from October 2007 to May 2023, all are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
