Dr. Jorge Neto Valente

Dr. Jorge Neto Valente is GEG’s Group Advisor and Galaxy Casino S.A.’s director and President of the Macau Portuguese School Foundation. Dr. Valente is an experienced lawyer who started practicing law in 1970 and has been awarded a Doctorate degree in Law (h.c.) by the University of Saint Joseph of Macau (2022). He is a member of the Macau Lawyers Association, and was appointed as the President of the Superior Council of Advocacy from 1991 to 1993 and from 2000 to 2001, the President of the AAM General Assembly from 1993 to 1995, and the President of the Board of AAM from 1995 to 2000 and from 2002 to 2022. He is also an associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, an honorary member of the International Association of Lawyers (UIA – Union Internationale des Avocats), and the President of the Strategic Council of FALP – Federation of Portuguese-Speaking Lawyers (since 2020).
