Mr. Tai Kin Ip, Director of the Macao Economic Bureau, says that the SAR Government has been endeavouring to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among young people under initiatives that tap into Macau’s close links with Portuguese-speaking countries, which would pave the way for wider and deeper exchanges of innovative resources between mainland China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, says that GEG wishes to support young entrepreneurs in pursuing their dreams by offering them maximum care and assistance along the way.

Mr. Ho Ka Lon, President of MYEA, says that MYEA will continue to help cultivate the development of the youth in Macau and Portuguese-speaking countries under the Belt and Road Initiative in a coordinated bid to help diversify Macau’s economy and advance the establishment of the Greater Bay Area.

GEG organizes a forum on entrepreneurship and innovation in the Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries in conjunction with MYEA at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau, drawing close to 150 young high-flyers.
