GEG Organizes Study Tours for Students from the “Youth Science and Technology Village” Program to Broaden their Scientific and Technological Horizons
- 1. GEG recently organized three study tours for the students in the program on three consecutive days, with routes and contents designed to cater to the academic needs and interests of the students. Field visits to various leisure and MICE facilities at Galaxy Macau and GICC were included, in addition to engaging in interactive technology experiences.
- 2. GEG offered the students a close-up look at the operation system of various performance installations such as the 3-meter high giant diamond, spotlight and fountain, where they were exposed to, and operated pertinent mechanical equipment under the supervision and explanations of GEG’s representatives from Facility Management. In doing so, the students gained a thorough understanding of the installations’ internal structure and precision design, and expanded their technological horizons.
- 3. The students were given a captivating and interactive presentation of the programmable LED ceiling in the exhibition hall of GICC by the audio-visual and network professionals of GEG’s Entertainment Operations Department, who detailly explained the lighting principles and color-coding system.
- 4. To extend their perspectives, the students also visited a number of cutting-edge locations such as the chiller plants in the back-of-house area of Galaxy Macau.
