GEG and UTM Jointly Organize Community Tourism Training Programs to Deepen Team Members’ Understanding of Local Cultural Tourism Resources
- 1. GEG collaborated with UTM to co-host the “Experience Macao with GEG” program in 2024, and hosted the “A Hundred Years of Taipa and Coloane Stories” seminar. The two sessions were attended by around 300 GEG management and frontline team members.
- 2. Dr. Cindia Lam, Dean of Institute of Executive and Professional Development of UTM, shared insights about Macau’s history and culture with GEG team members in the “A Hundred Years of Taipa and Coloane Stories” seminar.
- 3. GEG collaborated with UTM to co-host the “Experience Macao with GEG” program in 2024, which included the five-day study program with aims of helping GEG team members who participated in the program to enhance their understanding of Macau history and culture.
- 4. GEG team members who participated in the study program visited the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards to learn about Macau’s traditional shipbuilding industry, deepening their understanding of the revitalization project.
- 5. GEG team members who participated in the study program learnt about the process of making Portuguese tarts at the “Making Grandma Rosa’s Portuguese Tarts” workshop, enhancing their knowledge of Macau’s unique culinary culture.
