GEG Participates in 2025 MIECF as Green Partner; Promoting Sustainability and Green Living in Macau
- 1. GEG supported the 2025 MIECF as a Green Partner. Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG (second from right), represented at the opening ceremony and toured GEG’s exhibition booth.
- 2. As the first integrated tourism and leisure enterprise to implement the “Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic” initiative, over 90% of GEG’s hotels have replaced plastic with bamboo amenities in the hotel rooms. GEG also embraced the concept of “replacing plastic with bamboo, turning waste into treasure” to its exhibition booth design, and showcased a series of upcycled eco-friendly products created for related initiatives and its hotel brands.
- 3. GEG specially invited the local environmental organization “Green Future” to host multiple “Recycled Plastic Art Workshops”, allowing participants to experience the “turning waste into treasure” process through professional guidance.
