November 23, 2023 – Upholding its philosophy of “What is taken from the community is to be used for the good of the community,” over the years, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) fulfils its pledge of caring the community through multi-pronged approaches, including participating in and sponsoring different local fundraising and charitable activities. This year, GEG continues to support Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society (“Tung Sin Tong”)’s annual fundraising campaign for the 20th consecutive year by donating MOP700,000 to support its activities and services.

This morning, delegates from Tung Sin Tong, including Chairman Mr. José Chui Sai Peng, Vice Chairman Mr. Ma Iao Iao and Directors Ms. Agnes Fok, Mr. Lei Chi Fong, Mr. Lei Kit Heng and Mr. Charles M. Choy, visited GEG and were warmly received by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman, and Mr. Buddy Lam, Executive Vice President of GEG. A MOP700,000 cheque was presented to the Tung Sin Tong delegates to support this year’s campaign and GEG executives also expressed gratitude for Tung Sin Tong’s continued contribution to the sustainable development of Macau. Both parties also exchanged views on different topics, including Macau’s charity work, corporate social responsibility and future plans.

Since 2004, GEG has maintained in close contact with Tung Sin Tong. In addition to supporting its annual fundraising campaign, GEG collaborates with Tung Sin Tong to organize and support an array of community activities, including organizing members of its Volunteer Team to pay regular visits to the Elderly Activity Center of Tung Sin Tong to deliver festive blessings and gift packages. Earlier this year, GEG invited students from the Tung Sin Tong Primary School to celebrate “Earth Day” at the Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center at Galaxy Macau™ where they learned about the importance of environmental protection and GEG’s latest green initiatives. Moving forward, GEG will continue to champion its corporate citizenship pledge of “Community at Heart, Empathy in Action” and advocate the charitable spirit of mutual care and love to the different community segments.
