November 2, 2024 – Recently, a fake Macau media website has been circulating online, claiming to have published the text content of a live interview with Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group ("GEG"). GEG hereby declares that the fake website and the contents contained therein are completely untrue and fabricated without supporting facts. GEG strongly urges the public to be vigilant and not to trust suspicious information in order to avoid falling into the scams and suffering any losses and damages. It is an illegal act for any person to maliciously make use of Mr. Francis Lui’s images without GEG’s authorization and fabricate false articles in order to mislead the public. Not only it has seriously damaged the interests of the public but also GEG’s reputation that should be seriously reprimanded. In this regard, GEG reserves all its rights and claims in this matter and will make every effort to report the case to the police.
