Galaxy Entertainment Group to be the First Gaming Operator to Launch Free Wi-Fi Service on Shuttle Buses

August 8, 2013 - With the rising trend of web browsing via mobile or other portable devices, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) continues its effort to enhance Macau’s tourism offerings by launching free Wi-Fi service on 74 shuttle buses of Galaxy Express and StarWorld Express. The new service will not only enable access to online travel information, but the users will also be eligible to enroll in a lucky draw to win free hotel accommodations and other prizes.
From now on, internet service is available free of charge on the designated routes of Galaxy Express between Galaxy Macau™ and StarWorld Hotel, Taipa Ferry Terminal, Macau Ferry Terminal, Macau International Airport, Portas do Cerco, Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and Posto Fronteiriço do Cotai, as well as the designated routes of StarWorld Express between StarWorld Hotel and Galaxy Macau, Taipa Ferry Terminal, Macau Ferry Terminal and Portas do Cerco.
With an aim to enhance travel experience in Macau, the free Wi-Fi service will offer passengers the opportunities to enjoy immediate access to the updated information about Macau, such as weather forecast and the dining and entertainment offerings of the city.

I can not only chat with my friends via Wi-Fi, but I can also share my photos and travel stories online to keep them updated about my trip.” Starting from today to 31 October, passengers who use the Wi-Fi service on Galaxy Express and StarWorld Express will be eligible to register for a lucky draw. The prizes include 180 exquisite souvenir sets, as well as a total of 6- night accommodations at Galaxy Hotel™ or StarWorld Hotel.
