“2017 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon” Winners of the Best Shot of Marathon Lucky Draw Announced
- 1. Organized by Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and General Association of Athletics of Macau and title sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), the 2017 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon concluded successfully on December 3. To enliven the atmosphere of the marathon, GEG again hosted the Best Shot of Marathon campaign this year. The announcement ceremony of the lucky draw was held at 3pm today at The Broadway Food Street, Broadway Macau™. Mr. Ho Weng Hong, General Assembly Board Member of General Association of Athletics of Macau; Ms. Lei Si Leng, Sports Bureau of Macao, Head of the Macau Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department; and Dr. Jorge Neto Valente, Group Advisor of GEG (left to right) attended the ceremony.
- 2. Mr. Ho Weng Hong, General Assembly Board Member of General Association of Athletics of Macau, drew the 16th to 30th Grand Prizes awardees for the Best Shot of Marathon. Prizes include massage treatment, F&B vouchers and UA Galaxy Cinemas tickets sponsored by GEG. Mr. Ho expressed his delight to see a new record in the number of runners this year. The organizers, Sports Bureau of Macao and General Association of Athletics of Macau, and title sponsor GEG again hosted the Most Creative Costume Awards and Best Shot of Marathon, to leave the runners and citizens with good memories. He anticipates the continuous support and participation from everyone next year.
- 3. Ms. Lei Si Leng, Sports Bureau of Macao, Head of the Macau Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department, drew the 1st to 15th Grand Prizes awardees for the Best Shot of Marathon. Prizes include hotel room vouchers with breakfast, F&B vouchers, UA Galaxy Cinemas tickets, smart watch, massage treatment and spa vouchers sponsored by GEG. Ms. Lei states that long-distance running is becoming more popular, and that the number of marathon participants increases each year. The Best Shot of Marathon was first launched last year and received overwhelming response; runners were able to enjoy the fun of working out while striving hard on the track. She encourages athletes to form a regular habit of exercising to promote the spirit of “Sport for All for Better Health”.
- 4. Dr. Jorge Neto Valente, Group Advisor of GEG, drew the Special Grand Prize awardee for the Best Shot of Marathon. Winner of the Special Grand Prize will receive a Suzuki 5-doors vehicle worth about MOP122,000 (pre-tax).
