2018 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon Kicks-off Today; GEG Wins Group Trophy for the 14th Consecutive Year
- 1. The 2018 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon, title-sponsored by GEG for the 15th consecutive year, was kicked off early this morning with horn blasted by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG; Mr. Ma Iao Hang, President of General Association of Athletics of Macau; Dr. Alexis Tam Chon Weng, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture; Dr. Jorge Neto Valente, Group Advisor of GEG; and Mr. Pun Weng Kun, President of Sports Bureau (from left to right).
- 2. Winning the Marathon’s Group Trophy for the 14th consecutive year, GEG runners are joined by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG and other senior executives in celebrating their great success.

- 4. GEG team member Shanti Devi Adhikari takes home the second place in Female Category C and Francisca Garcia De Oliveira Rodrigues Beja takes home the fifth place in Female Category B of Mini Marathon.
- 5. This year, GEG hosts again the Most Creative Costume Award in hopes of creating a more exuberant atmosphere.
- 6. GEG performers are cheering on the runners at the 2018 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon.
- 7. The marathon route this year once again traverses Macau’s well-known architectural sites and landmarks, including Galaxy Macau™, in order to showcase the city’s diverse cultural and entertainment offerings.
