GEG Delivers Emergency Preparedness Talk to the Elderly with Various Government Departments and GEG Volunteers Distribute “Family Care” Kits to the Homes of the Elderly
- 1. GEG, the Public Security Police Force, the Social Welfare Bureau and the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau held an “Emergency Preparedness Talk” on how to evacuate from low-lying areas during major storms and typhoons at the Community Services Center of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau.
- 2. Staff from the Public Security Police Force distributed pamphlets, including “Guidelines for Storm Surge Disaster Prevention", "Evacuation Plan from Low-lying Areas During Storm Surge and Typhoon" and "Introduction to Evacuation Shelters” to the elderlies and GEG volunteers.
- 3. GEG volunteers packed “Family Care” kits for Peng On Tung’s services users at Macau Red Cross.
- 4. GEG volunteers delivered the “Family Care” kits to the elderly users of Peng On Tung tele-assistance services.
