May 2, 2012 – A whole new indoor amusement centre, “Kidz Island”, was opened on 27th April at Galaxy Macau™, offering the visiting families a unique experience of fun and laughter. To share this new play area with the community, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) warmly invited over 40 children and staff from Cradle of Hope Association to enjoy the facilities at Kidz Island on Sunday. 15 members of GEG’s volunteer team also joined the activity to extend full assistance to the young guests throughout their stay.
As the kids arrived at the Kidz Island on Sunday morning, they were all excited by the variety of amusement facilities at the playground and were eager to try them out. With a gratitude to GEG’s care and effort on the activity and transportation arrangement, Ms. Cheang Wai Sam, a social worker from Cradle of Hope Association, said, “The kids were all very happy to be invited to the Kidz Island at Galaxy Macau as they don’t have many opportunities to visit such an amazing playground.”
The Kidz Island at Galaxy Macau offers a wide range of entertainment amenities including the book corner, dress up area, obstacle area, art & craft area and arcade game zone. Specially designed to inspire creativity and imagination in children of varying ages, the playground creates a fun-filled interactive setting for the young players.
The Kidz Island was surrounded with laughter as the young guests were joined by the GEG volunteers in exploring the playground. The kids had not only enjoyed a wonderful time playing arcade games such as dancing machine, car racing and gun shooting, but they also had great fun dressing up as princes and princesses at the dress up area. Delighted to have provided a memorable outing for the children, the volunteers hoped that they could continue their efforts in spreading happiness around.
