GEG Celebrates Chinese New Year with the Community and Team Members Through Diverse Activities

Coinciding with the Spring Market at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, an area revitalized through GEG’s partnership with the Macau SAR Government, elderly members from the Caritas Macau were invited to visit and partake in festive celebrations in the shipyards area.

Mr. Buddy Lam, Director of Corporate Affairs of GEG, presented the elderly with Galaxy Macau turnip cakes as a gesture of New Year blessings.

Accompanied by GEG Volunteers and their family members, the elderly explored the Spring Market.

On the opening day of the Spring Market, GEG invited members from the Macau Deaf Association, the Macau Special Olympics, and the Areia Preta Community Service Centre of UGAMM to partake in the festivities.

GEG arranged over 100 volunteers, including GEG Volunteers and students from the “Youth Science and Technology Village” program, to engage in the “Technological Support for Senior Living Alone” event and visit 60 local elderly residents to spread love and care to the elderly community.

GEG’s Human Resources and Administration Department arranged a variety of Chinese New Year-themed activities for its team members to immerse in the festive atmosphere.

GEG collaborated with AJVM in hosting the “GEG Presents: ‘Fortune Turns the Wheel, Rational Play’ Responsible Gaming CNY Roadshow” to promote responsible gaming and encourage team members and their family members to maintain a rational attitude towards gaming during the festive season.

As a leading partner of the “Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Snake” hosted by MGTO, GEG will participate in the Parade to showcase Macau’s unique “tourism + festival” charm by presenting a parade float and exciting performances inspired by the “Gold Snake” theme.
