August 6, 2012 – Over 60 kids and parents from Macau Deaf Association visited Galaxy Macau™ last Friday to enjoy a fun-filled summer day specially arranged by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”). The families were first invited to see a 3D animation “Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted” at UA Galaxy Cinemas and afterwards enjoy a savory lunch at Tastes of Asia. More entertainment followed as the group visited the carnival at the East Square, where the kids and grown-ups were all engaged by an array of joyful activities including the carnival booth games and a mascot parade by the characters from the movie.

Accompanied by around 20 members of the GEG volunteer team, the families, as well as the staff from the association, arrived at the UA Galaxy Cinemas on Friday morning with anticipation for the summer blockbuster “Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted”. Characterized by vibrant and colorful 3D images and powerful stereo effects, the movie has sparked waves of laughter from spectators at all ages with its exciting story plot of animals coming together to rescue a failing circus. The young spectators were especially stunned by the 3D animal characters which looked so real that they could almost touch them.

After the movie, the group visited the “Madagascar 3 Summer Carnival” at the East Square with the friendly GEG volunteers. The kids were all filled with excitement as they met the Madagascar animals and took funny photos with them. The young guests were then joined by their parents at the carnival booth games where they won special prizes and spent some enjoyable time together. Impressed by the variety of family-friendly amenities offered by Galaxy Macau, Yip Im Sam who joined the activity with her son said, “We are very happy that we can meet the characters ‘in person’ after the movie. The resort has a wide range of entertainment and dining facilities and we will definitely come back again for family gathering.”

In addition to the fun-filled activities, the GEG volunteer team members warmly invited the guests from the association to enjoy the delicious food at Tastes of Asia. With gratitude towards GEG’s thoughtful arrangement for the families, Ms. Leong, social worker from the association said, “The activities organized by GEG today have offered great opportunities for the parents and their children to enjoy some interactive time, making the outing a truly meaningful one for them.” She hoped that more similar activities could be organized in the future to make people realize the importance of building a harmonious family.
