Nov 13, 2014 - Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), in expressing gratitude to the members of Staff Social Club (“SSC”), recently held a year-end recognition dinner where certificates were presented for the members’ efforts in hosting various staff activities and participating in different charity events. Sports teams under SSC such as basketball team, dragon boat team and football team were also invited to celebrate their achievements in 2014.

To share the joyful moment with the team members, many senior executives also participated in the dinner where Ms. Eileen Lui, Group Director of Human Resources and Administration at GEG, presented certificates to SSC members in recognition of their devotion of spare time and dedicated efforts in organizing diverse recreation and entertainment activities to enrich team members’ daily lives, members of volunteer team were also recognized for their care to the community and spirit of helpfulness. Meanwhile, Mr. Raymond Yap, Director of International Premium & Mass Market Development and Mr. Kevin Clayton, Chief Marketing Officer of GEG awarded certificates to representatives of teams of dragon boat, basketball, football, badminton, table tennis and bowling, praising for their determination and sportsmanship.

Moreover, GEG produced a video recording the highlight of Macau International Dragon Boat Races 2014 and the 8th M.G.I.L.A Basketball Cup to review the outstanding performance and high team spirit of the players, the video also recorded the highlight of GEG’s volunteer team paying visit to social charity organizations and spreading care to the vulnerable groups. During the cheerful and lively recognition dinner, SSC members celebrated the achievements they had attained this past year and shared experiences.

One of the SSC member said that his confidence had been built up through organizing various activities as he had learnt different skills and made new friends, while a player from the basketball team was delighted with the video, saying that it reminded him the ear-splitting cheering during the competition that he enjoyed a lot, he was also grateful for the opportunities offered by GEG to reach his sporting potential.
