April 12, 2016 – Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) places corporate social responsibility and charitable activities at its heart of the business. GEG recently invited 80 members and parents from Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired to Viva La Broadway, a spectacular variety show at Broadway Macau™ where they enjoyed the show and had a wonderful night.
As the associations’ members and parents entered the Broadway Theatre last Saturday evening, staffs of Broadway Macau greeted them and ushered them to the seats. Viva La Broadway features dance troupes, vocal artists, a laser show, a mime performance and more. The fascinating visual effects of the show gained the applause from the audience, among them, the association social worker Mr. Ocean Chan thanked GEG and said, “Most of the members and parents came to the Broadway Theatre and experienced such close-up performance for the first time. They hailed the show especially the archer who demonstrated his expertise during the arrow-shooting performance.” Ms. Leong Siu Ha, one of the members of the association commented through sign language that the stage effects during the laser show were awesome.
After the show, the association members and parents were invited to a meet and greet with the Viva La Broadwayperformers, where they took photographs together. Supporting the disadvantaged through work with local charitable associations is part of GEG’s mission to bridge the gap between different sectors of society and build up a harmonious place in the community.
