Sep 26, 2016 – In striving to provide diverse opportunities for locals to develop their career paths, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) hosted a recruitment party with the theme of “World Class, Asian Heart”. GEG team members were present at the event to answer attendees’ questions and demonstrate the “Asian Heart” service philosophy. Many attendees expressed that they were impressed by GEG’s facilities and hotel operations, which have greatly promoted the integration of non-gaming elements into the industry.
Eight sessions of “World Class, Asian Heart” party were held recently. GEG team members welcomed the pre-registered participants and introduced GEG, its service philosophy, its facilities and its future development plan of vision. The party then began with flair bartending, the art of tea and Shanxi sliced noodles presented by Food and Beverage Department team members. Following the F&B performance, the participants were divided into groups for a mini game to acquire insights knowledge of GEG. The winning group was awarded fabulous prizes. Together with GEG team members, participants were invited on a tour of Galaxy Macau™ where they were able to view the facilities and also the suites in the Galaxy Hotel™. After the tour, GEG department supervisors and the participants had discussions to exchange views on their interests and career prospects so as to assist participants in finding their well-suited opportunities at GEG.
To offer locals diverse career choices, the event focused on a wide range of non-gaming departments including Engineering and Facilities and Hotel Operations, etc. Participant Miss Teng said that the visit to the hotel suites was a rich experience, and she expressed gratitude to GEG for the arrangement. Mr. Liviano Lacchia, Vice President of Recruitment Department, GEG said GEG was hosting the party in an innovative way to invite more locals to experience in person the “Asian Heart” service philosophy.
