“2016 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon”; GEG Won Group Trophy for the 12th Consecutive Year
- 1. The 35th Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon was held this early morning and kicked off by horn blasts by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG, Mr. Pun Weng Kun, President of Sports Bureau, Mr. Alexis Tam Chon Weng, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Mr. Ma Iao Hang, President of General Association of Athletics of Macau and Dr. Jorge Neto Valente, Group Advisor of GEG (left to right). This is also the 13th year with GEG as the title sponsor of the event.
- 2. GEG runners celebrated with Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG, senior executives and Team Members for winning the Marathon’s Group Trophy for the 12th consecutive year.
- 3. Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG, Mr. Alexis Tam Chon Weng, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture and Mr. Ma Iao Hang, President of General Association of Athletics of Macau (front left to right) presented awards to the first ten male athletes of Full Marathon.
- 4. GEG Team Member Shanti Devi Adhikari joined the Mini Marathon and garnered the first runner-up in the Female C category.
- 5. The runners passed by several renowned landmarks in the city including Galaxy Macau™, communicating a sense of positive energy.
