2018 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon Winners of the Join Us and Upload Best Shot to Win Lucky Draw Announced
- 1. Organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government and the General Association of Athletics of Macau, and title sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”), the 2018 Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon took place on December 2. Once again this year, GEG sponsored the Join Us and Upload Best Shot to Win Lucky Draw campaign, providing a variety of exciting prizes for the winners. The lucky draw event was held today at Broadway Food Street at Broadway Macau™. Ms. Lei Si Leng, Head of the Macau Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department of the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government (center); Mr. Choi Wai Peng, General Assembly Board Member of the General Association of Athletics of Macau (right); and Mr. Buddy Lam, Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG (left), attended the ceremony to draw the names of the winners.
- 2. Mr. Choi Wai Peng, General Assembly Board Member of the General Association of Athletics of Macau, drew the names of the 16th to 30th prize winners. These prizes include Galaxy Macau™ F&B vouchers and UA Galaxy Cinemas movie tickets sponsored by GEG.
- 3. Ms. Lei Si Leng, Head of the Macau Grand Prix and Major Sporting Events Department of the Sports Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, drew the names of the 1st to 15th prize winners. These prizes include vouchers for hotel rooms with breakfast included, Galaxy Macau F&B vouchers, UA Galaxy Cinemas movie tickets, smart watch, vouchers for Zero Latency Macau’s virtual reality game experience, massage treatment, and spa vouchers sponsored by GEG. Ms. Lei expressed her gladness that long-distance running is becoming more popular and that the number of participants in the Macau International Marathon has increased each year. "The Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon has once again become a top annual sporting event looked forward to by local and international athletes. The Join Us and Upload Best Shot to Win Lucky Draw campaign has been hosted again to offer a diversified and engaging experience for the athletes and supporters," she said. Ms. Lei also encouraged the runners to continue their athletic endeavors as a lifelong interest, showing a spirit of perseverance and sportsmanship and supporting the values of “Sport For All for Better Health”.

Mr. Buddy Lam, Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG, drew the name of the special grand prize winner, who will receive a Suzuki Hustler 5-doors vehicle worth about MOP122,000 (pre-tax). Mr. Lam said that, as the title sponsor of the Macau International Marathon, GEG is glad to see the public’s enthusiastic participation in the Join Us and Upload Best Shot to Win Lucky Draw campaign, which is held to enliven the atmosphere of the marathon and increase spectator engagement. He also said that GEG is committed to supporting the development of sports tourism in the city, which is an important facet of positioning Macau as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.
