GEG Donates MOP600,000 to Tung Sin Tong

November 8, 2019 – Living up to its philosophy of “What is taken from the community is to be used for the good of the community”, Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) is always committed to contributing to the society through joining and sponsoring local fund raising and charity events. In response to the annual fund raising campaign of Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society, GEG continued to support Tung Sin Tong this year with a donation of MOP600,000, as well as establishing for the first time a promotion booth for its services at the back-of-house area of Galaxy Macau™, spreading the spirits of caring and mutual support among team members.
A delegation of Tung Sin Tong, including President Mr. Jose Chui Sai Peng and Directors Mr. Charles Choy, Mr. Jeffrey Vong, and Ms. Vong Pui Lam, visited the corporate office of GEG this afternoon, warmly received by Mr. Francis Lui, Vice Chairman of GEG; Ms. Eileen Lui Wai Ling, Group Director – Human Resources & Administration; Mr. Buddy Lam, Senior Vice President of Public Relations; and Ms. Catherine Iu, Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Community Relations. After the handover of a cheque of MOP600,000 donation, both sides discussed amicably about the latest charity work, corporate social responsibility and team member caring events.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the Tung Sin Tong service promotion booth at the back-of-house area of Galaxy Macau, in which GEG team members could deepen their knowledge about the community services and ethos of Tung Sin Tong through intriguing games. The station, also encouraging people to get involved in charity and help those in need in the society, was highly sought after and supported by many team members.
As a way of giving back to the community, GEG has always been supportive to different charitable organizations and social service institutions over the years. The Group has established close ties with Tung Sin Tong since 2004 and backed its annual fund raising campaign. Going forward, GEG will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and its pledge of caring the community.
